DISHWASHER

We’re looking for experienced dishwashers to join our kitchen team. Dishwashers will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe dishwashing, kitchen and dining environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Wash dishes, cutlery, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, smallware and other equipment. 

  • Monitor the dish machine to ensure wash and rinse cycles do not fall below standard safety temperatures and change dishwater as needed.

  • Ensure the temperatures and ppm levels of sanitizers in the dish machine and sinks always comply with health code. 

  • Organize clean dishes, cutlery, and cooking equipment in their designated areas. 

  • Stock all supplies, dishes, equipment, tools and utensils in their designated areas on the kitchen line. 

  • Clean all kitchen areas including floors, walk-ins, sinks and other food prep surfaces.

  • Assist in unloading deliveries and supplies and transferring food products and supplies throughout the restaurant.

  • Support the kitchen team as needed. 

  • Complete assigned opening and closing duties, including stocking, cleaning and organizing the dish area. 

  • Comply with all required food handling and workplace safety procedures. 

  • Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds. Report dishwasher and equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits. 

  • Positive attitude and ability to work cooperatively and efficiently in a high-volume environment with all restaurant staff.

  • Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
