
SOUS CHEF
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about their craft and focused on providing our customers with a memorable culinary experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage food costs, kitchen labor, and other department expenses not to exceed budget.

Plan, staff, organize, and coordinate the timely preparation of food orders.

Support your team in the preparation of all ingredients and food products to recipe standards.

Comply with and uphold all required food handling and workplace safety, sanitary, and loss prevention procedures.

Maintain preparation and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner.

Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests in a timely manner.

Comply consistently with standard portion size, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.

Organize refrigerators, cooler drawers, ovens, prep, and dry storage areas.

Assist in the daily cleaning of the pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, dish area, stairs, walk-in, and prep area.

Support in training, mentoring, and development of kitchen staff members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Culinary degree preferred.

Minimum 2+ years culinary experience with positive progression in the industry preferred.

High volume food production and catering experience is required.

Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.

Applicants must meet the legal requirements for employment in the United States.
COMPENSATION:

$65,000 - $75,000
