LINE COOK

We’re looking for experienced line cooks to join our kitchen team. Line cooks will be responsible for station prep, setup, service and breakdown while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prep all ingredients and food products to fulfill prep lists and recipe standards. 

  • Utilize various prep and cooking methods to ensure the quick and precise creation of our menu items in accordance with recipes. 

  • Communicate and coordinate with other workstations to deliver food in a timely and effective manner.

  • Maintain prep and cooking areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner. 

  • Clean, organize, and maintain refrigerators, cooler drawers, ovens, prep and dry storage areas.

  • Complete assigned opening and closing duties, including stocking, cleaning, and organizing line stations. 

  • Comply with all required food handling and workplace safety procedures. 

  • Follow all instructions and guidelines for safe usage of kitchen equipment and cleaning compounds. 

  • Report equipment problems and maintenance issues immediately to management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3+ years culinary experience.

  • Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits. 

  • Positive attitude and ability to work cooperatively and efficiently in a high-volume environment with all restaurant staff.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Applicants must meet the legal requirements for employment in the United States.

COMPENSATION:

  • $22 to $25 per hour
